Music: Behind the Scenes

I know I know... It's been awhile since my last update. Guess what though! I have been working extremely hard in the background. I think its important as upcoming artist that we realize that social media is more of a tool in our careers than an absolute need. What I'm saying is... everybody can't see everything. My goal is to be the most interesting artist to come out of Charlotte since Da Baby. How am I doing that you ask? Well for starters I understood that I needed a team with experience to develop the brand that I have building for the past three years. A few people "in the business" will say you don't need a manager until you NEED a manager. Me: What does that even mean?! To me that means "until you have a huge fanbase and you making some money you don't need someone to help guide your career". That has never made sense to me because if I am inexperienced in developing myself into a star why wouldn't I want someone with credentials to assist in making me a star. So...basically I didn't take that advice. I'm not making thousands but I have and am making money off my first project...that's a start. Not only have I been training myself in creating beats and writing songs I have also been studying the music business; as much as I can in as many books, articles, videos, and people that I can find. In the midst of all of that I have been figuring out how to use my creativity to compensate for the non big budget things an artist may need in order to fulfill my managers development notes. Things are moving pretty smooth and I am so excited to share more of my journey with you all as well as the new music I am putting together...cuz this unreleased catalog is FOOLISH!! Stay tuned!!
